I. Information about application
HeatME is a mobile application, offered as a supplementing product to the device series NEX. It was created by company HeatQ Technology Sp. z o.o. to deliver our customers useful and modern client application, which offers a safe access, remote control and visualisation of the condition of NEX space heating device installed in customer’s premises.
The application provided free of charges by company HeatQ and is destined to be used based on the rule “as it is”.
II. Collecting and using information
By deciding to use our application to obtain a remote connection and to visualize the status of the user’s heating device, you agree to initiate the client application using the following information: address number of the built-in Bluetooth module, ID of the communication device and the user’s password for the user’s account in his NEX heating device (* ). Such a data set is entered into the application and stored locally on the device in the application resources. It is sufficient to establish a connection with the user’s NEX heating device.
III. (*) Explanations:
– The identifier of the communication device is generated by our devices and assigned to the device when requesting and establishing a connection between the NEX heating device and the mobile device. The ID is stored securely.
– The user password is known only to the user and recognized by his NEX heater.
Attention: HeatQ Technology Sp. z o.o. does not have a complete set of data that would allow connection to the user’s NEX heating device. On the client’s side, the above set of data is stored in the application resources of his device.
Komunikacja typu “end-to-end” pomiędzy urządzeniem grzewczym NEX użytkownika a klientem (klientami) aplikacji mobilnej jest realizowana za pośrednictwem komunikacji radiowej, z wykorzystaniem bezpiecznych usług transmisji danych z wykorzystaniem modułu Bluetooth.
Establishing end-to-end communication means continuous transmission of secured data from the NEX heating device to the Customer’s application in order to exchange the configuration of the NEX heating device and obtain information about the status of the NEX heating device by means of the system status check, input status check, output status check, viewing current failures and viewing all system events.
HeatQ Technology Sp. z o.o. does not collect any Data connected to communication type “end-to-end”. The data is stored only in the Customer’s NEX heating device and in the mobile application.
Our application does not use third party services that may collect information to identify the user. Our application does not use and does not collect any data that may be considered sensitive.
IV. Event log data and data analysis
We use these tools to collect anonymous data to better understand how the user uses our application. Thanks to them, we learn how to improve our application and which of its functions are used by the user. They also provide us with general information about where our application is used in the world and what language version our clients use.
Please be advised that in the event of any error while the user is working with the application, the Crashlytics technique enables processing of error reports saved in the event log of a given device. Log data may include e.g. device name, operating system version, application version, time and date of application use. Event log data is collected solely to enable us to develop and improve our application.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that may contain an anonymous unique identifier. They are sent to the Customer’s browser from the website visited by him and stored in the internal memory of the Customer’s device.
